Shane Meadows
Born in Great Britain in 1972 and practically self taught, Meadows started directing shorts and documentaries for cinema and television in the nineties.
At the Venice Film Festival in 1997, in addition to other awards, he won FIPRESCI award for his film 24/7, financed by the BBC.
